Definition
An intensity technique where you perform reps to failure, rest briefly (10-15 seconds), then squeeze out more reps with the same weight. Torture disguised as a training method.
Example Usage
I used rest-pause sets on my last exercise—got 10 reps, paused for 15 seconds, then eked out 5 more.

Bodybuilding methodology, with various forms documented since the mid-20th century.
Fun Fact
Rest-pause training can help you achieve more total volume at a given weight than traditional straight sets.
