DTN4L

Beginner 📱 Gen-Z / Internet Slang

Definition

While DTN4L and DTN surfaced in the late-2010s, they didn't become mainstream popular until 2022. For the grammar police, "don't trust no one" is a double negative, but the abbreviation is meant to warn others about who they trust or be used as a mantra to move forward in their love life.

A Warhammer 40K slur that the Eldar use for humans and other races they consider inferior—basically the grimdark sci-fi equivalent of calling someone a primitive pest. It's got lore behind it (something about ancient enslaver beasts), but nerds mostly use it ironically when dunking on other factions in 40K debates.
