Definition

A training method using bands or chains that increase resistance throughout the range of motion, forcing your muscles to work harder where they're strongest. It's biomechanics' way of saying 'no easy parts allowed.'

Example Usage

He added chains to his squat to provide accommodating resistance at lockout, turning a hard lift into a spicy nightmare.

Popularized by Westside Barbell and powerlifting methodology in the 1990s

Fun Fact
