A dangerous traffic phenomenon where a well-meaning driver waves at a turning car, creating a false sense of security that blinds them to oncoming traffic in an adjacent lane—resulting in a collision that could have been prevented if people just followed the rules instead of improvising traffic etiquette. It's kindness meets catastrophe.
