Definition
A lower body exercise where you lunge forward continuously across a space, combining strength training with the awkward gait of someone who vastly overestimated their abilities. Guaranteed to make tomorrow's stairs a philosophical challenge.
Example Usage
The 50-meter walking lunge down the gym seemed reasonable until the 50-meter walk back up became a slow-motion tragedy in four acts.
Origin
Traditional strength training exercise with origins in various athletic traditions
Fun Fact
Walking lunges are notably cruel because they combine the quad destruction of stationary lunges with the added humiliation of spectators watching your wobbling progression.
