Definition

Hobo railroad terminology for when a freight train pulls onto a side track to let another train pass, or alternatively, a darkly euphemistic term for when a train hopper meets a fatal end while riding the rails.

Example Usage

The boxcar started slowing down—we knew we were going into the hole, so everyone got ready to jump.
