To enter an established market and break everything that was working fine, then call it innovation. Every startup wants to disrupt something, usually the sleep schedules and savings accounts of its founders.

Example Usage

"We're here to disrupt the umbrella industry," pitched the startup founder, presenting an app-connected umbrella that required Wi-Fi, a subscription, and somehow still didn't keep you dry.

In military and logistics contexts, it's arranging troops or equipment methodically for inspection or deployment. Think of it as the organizational obsessive-compulsive's dream job: everything in its place, properly sequenced, ready for action.
