Definition
A workout format with a long list of different exercises performed once in sequence, chipping away at the list. Starts cheerfully, ends with existential questions.
Example Usage
Today's chipper was 50 pull-ups, 100 push-ups, 150 squats, and 200 sit-ups—by the end I was chipping away at my will to live.
Origin
CrossFit workout format named for the methodical process of chipping away at a large task
Fun Fact
Chippers test mental fortitude as much as physical capacity because you can see the mountain of work ahead, watching it shrink with agonizing slowness.
