Definition
An auction-style feeding frenzy where buyers throw increasingly insane amounts of money at a house until only one financially reckless person remains standing. The winner gets the house. Everyone else gets therapy.
Example Usage
"I won a bidding war by offering $80K over asking, waiving all contingencies, and throwing in my vintage baseball card collection. I call that a victory. My accountant calls it something else." - A champion bidder
